Back again for the 77th Vuelta, kicking off with a team time trial in Utrecht on Friday 19th August then a couple more flat stages in the Netherlands before trips round the North then South of Spain before culminating in a Madrid finale.

Cycling Stage route overview
The Big Start of La Vuelta will be hosted by the Dutch city Utrecht on Friday 19 August. After a TTT and two more flat stages in the Netherlands the Spanish Grand Tour returns to home soil. The route includes nine mountain stages and two time trials, one for teams, one individual.

Cut off for stage 1 team picks and GC is 17:30 UK time 19/08/22 when the first team is due to start, rest of stages cut off is 12:00 UK time on the day. An exception to this is the individual time trial (stage 10/Tuesday 30th August) which is due to start at 13:40 UK time, and will be the cut off.
