Chain Length on 11 Speed 52/36 11/28 cassette

I'm changing cassette from 11/25 to 11/28 so I'm changing the chain at the same time, what length should the chain be for the new cassette or what difference in length from the chain that was with the 11/25?

I would guess another couple of links but that is assuming the old chain was the correct length. I would start from scratch and remeasure with the new chain using one of the standard techniques (such as large to large cogs plus two links).

When that says 54 links, but the chain says it's 114 links in relation to that calculator the chain is actually 57 links? Makes sense as i counted 53 links on the chain that's with the 11/25 cassette last time i changed it.

A link is a link - the plates between two pins/rollers. A link is not a pair of inner and outer plates - that's two links.
