Replace hub or whole wheel

I have a Scott Genius 710 plus 2017 (full spec here: https://www.vitalmtb.com/product/guide/Bikes,3/Scott/Genius-710-Plus,18900)

The cassette on the rear wheel keeps getting loose and rattling. I have tightened it many times, but now it won't even last 10 minutes. On taking the cassette off to inspect, the part which the cassette slots on to is worn away, so the small cogs can spin freely rather than being held in place by the little grooves that are worn away.

If anyone has any clue what I'm talking about... is this a part which can be replaced, or is it easier/cheaper to just buy a whole new wheel? If it is, what do I need to buy?
