wednesday we're off to see the tabby

'ning

early brekkie, wfhotel, stroll to check-in, need to remind mrs s that brexit made it nonsensical to buy her designer handbags in uk duty-no-longer-free, lounge bubbly brekkie, départ réel, bubbly, etc.

Have a great tabby visit SG

In the office today but behind schedule as the current wife can’t resist me.

Later will be either a run or bike

low twenties first thing, usually a steady scorchio this time of year, if there's a calima hottest i've had is 45

    basking uv is 'extreme'

had a stroll outside, cloudy, humid and much cooler, it's not the most scenic airport

Normal British summer seems to have been resumed round these parts. To the cave we go shortly for a spot of work, fortunately not too many meetings today.

Just home from Chester, got very drunk yesterday in the heat at a work event thing, marvellous. I enjoyed the heat, although I might have preferred to not be staying at a colleague's house so I could wear fewer clothes.

Excellent conditions to win back all my strava KOMs at my local mtb place before the rain comes but the OH wants to take the dogs for a walk later as I have been way

Cafe time, might play with my new brushcutter at lunch

end of civilisation as we know it, no tawny port in gatwick duty free, this place has really gone downhill, will have to stock up at the smiley dinosaur tonight

flounge is quiet, too late for brekkie, dined on meatballs, rice and salad, plenty of bubbly, currently on dessert from the big jar of bourbon biccies, it's ok, i'm carb loading for the ride

mrs s keeps giving me a shopping list to ignore

good view of the clouds and runway, could easily nod off

If you noticed a big disturbance and lots of security running around about 30mins ago, it’s just my missus being escorted on or possibly off the plane, so nothing to worry about. Although I haven’t had any messages since departure so hopefully on.

    Enjoy SG

some decades ago my plans to snooze back to the uk from nyc were derailed by the nervous flyer next to me, talked all the way back, fortunately she was quite lovely

Few years ago I was sat next to a lovely young Polish girl on her way back to family. We had a nice chat and a few drinks on the plane and escorted each other all the way to baggage reclaim. She gave me a hug and seemed genuinely sad to say goodbye 😔

The return flight was a little awkward when by chance we again shared the same flight and I had to introduce her to my wife 🤦‍♂️

    😀

Could have been my BPM (Blonde Polish Minion). She's like that, despite having having a husband

Much better. Cold start, but sunny all day. Picked up the materials this morning, half of it installed already. Now need to just move a last bench and stuff, so I can finish the job.

Decent walk this afternoon for a change, although timed it a bit badly, a bit too nippy by the time I got home.

2 minor wins today, many more still required though.

Extended ride home again to take advantage of the north westerley wind along the race track, I mean cycle path.
