Kamna's a good climber - could move way up in the GC here.

Brad calls them imbeciles and sounds as if some of the DS’s etc weighed in and began chucking them off the road.

Surprised the police didn’t whip out the old pepper spray.

Unless it's a justified demonstration over the absence of Cav, get Hinault out there to sort it awt!

Well I did not expect Magnus Cort to win today.

Kamna will probably be up in the top 3.

Crazy how Cort got back into that sprint, he was spent lower down the 19Km climb!

The result of everybody sitting on Kamna, expecting him to do all the work, chasing down attacks, but wanting the maillot jeune as much as the stage win.
Definitely played into the Pink Panther's claws.

    Cort on the line.

    +1 if that was unintentional

The number of times the tactical situation on that final climb changed was extraordinary.

    That was very exciting! :)
David Millar's commentary on ITV 4 for the last 15km was excellent, as well - a real insight into the tactics. Chapeau!

The front three seriously fluffed that. Love it when a tactical stalemate scuppers the leaders. Doubt they realised how fast Kamna was closing, but serious silly buggers cost them dearly.

Clawed himself back by will alone. He was on the limit the entire final climb

Decent race for the stage, I can't recall seeing so many riders get off their bikes and sit on the road after crossing the line.

I assume Ineos were intending to get Pidcock up to DVB and Ganna but that no-one else was going to take the risk. Haven't seen much of the last few days so was surprised Pidcock is in white as I'd assumed Vingegaard was eligible.

I was confused by this too. Cut off is under 26 on 1st Jan following the Tour (so 01/01/23 in this case). Jonas turns 26 in December.

Think Bettiol redeemed himself today after his very strange decisions on the cobbles. Cort got to sit in for a critical part of the race
