FIZIK R5 TEMPO POWERSTRAP ROAD SHOES

I am perpetually fed up with the hot spot on my Sidi Genius 5's. My old Sidi's (now relegated to winter shoes) I don't get the hotspot despite being virtually identical. The velcro is going and they're a bit tatty.
I am swayed by the Fizik's for the unanimous opinion that they are comfortable.
Do they conform to sizes or do they come up on the small or large size?
I am a size 9.

What's your size in sidi. I'm either an 8 or 8 1/2, but a 44 with Sidi (which is a 9).
Am also looking at fizik because sidi uppers are way too stiff these days.0 -
I am a 9 in Sidi.
The ratchet adjusters on the Sidi's are good but the velcro straps don't seem to offer much compliance - i.e you can pull them hard and it seems to squeeze that part of the foot badly.
I like the idea of 3 straps and knowing people with BOA dial shoes that wear out/stretch, i'd rather not pay the extra for a shoe that won't last long.
The Sidi's have held up really well but there has to be something more comfortable. Reviews state that they suit people with wider feet and that suits me.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Cheeky outlets push the price up according to colour - up to £103 from the orange and black @ £66 (I like the Navy/Black), so I did a straight search not using links and came up with...
