12 spd chain

Hi All, I recently upgraded to a Sram 12spd groupset- has anyone any experience of re-using the powerlock connectors as Sram says its a no no? I have been waxing chains for some years and would like to on this bike buying links continually seems a waste, thanks

Friend of mine reused them all the time, no issues at all.
Shimano say the same with theirs and they are also fine
