8 is not my lucky number (and my lucky number's One not).

Southbound transit this pm of the M6 was not a good one. Oh well, last 7 have been no probs so... But getting into a 45 mins or so static / crawl coz some muppet can't drive sensibly, in a hire van sans AC in increasingly hot conditions. Erse.

Rehydrating now, which is fine. Tomorrow is a load day ahead of van trip #2.

So. What's going on in the world?

O Just open the window. Old school I know but it works a bit. Not sure how but Pinno and MF have managed to turn the Tourist thread to chickens.

    Evening all,
Busy day in the orifice was followed by much sorting of stuff for holiday at home and then the pub because I'm nowhere near sensible enough to practice pub avoidance. What a ridiculous idea.
Not sure I can be bothered to look at the TT thread now as there are well over 100 posts since I last looked early this evening.

Oh, I think on deserves a special mention for derailing the which bike should I buy thread with Ultegra crank failure so early on and then quietly keeping it going. Every now and then a new sucker falls in. Good work that man.

I went on a tangent with... The Grand National. I mean WTAF?
...and no one cottoned on because they are all on their PC toes ready to pounce. When they respond, you contradict them and then they are totally suckered. They fall into line waiting to correct you without realising they are in the wrong queue, standing in front of an oblique protest banner.
RC went down the route of the tangent with why the 'Brits' are opposed to eating horsemeat.

Well, you missed the Limposter et al vs MF, Pinno, Focuszing.

    They had no chance.

I get that nearly every time I post in there :)

That I really didn't miss, comparing a motorcycle race to gun sales struck me as being particularly stupid.
