HI,
Got a pair of Garmin vector 3s and been a while since ive cycled so been looking forward to getting back to using them.
Ive found they aren't connecting to 520 head unit and it seems batteries could be dead, ive probably used them maybe for 5 hours tops!.
Do they have a tendency to just come on for no reason? i have kept bike stored for about 6 months but cant see how or why they would just come on and stay on if bike hasn't moved at all ect
any suggestions or ideas why batterie have died after such little use?

The 2032 batteries (if that's what they still use) can drain pretty quickly even when not used.
Buy a stock off ebay or amazon, they are cheap in volume, and just replace as required.Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

Take the batteries out and clean them. Replace and give the pedals a spin. Do the spindle LEDs flash? If not its new batteries - both sides
As Daniel_b says, get a stock in from ebay or Amazon. Cheaper by the handful but still not cheap0 -
Check the battery covers aren't loose, mine have worked a bit loose in the past leading to them dropping out.0
