Hi
I have a pair or open pro rims with ultegra hubs which are about 11 years old.
I changed them to a pair of Fulcrum racing 5s. On my first outing with these wheels i felt they were not as good as the open pros but surly a 2021 set of wheels that are the same weight should perform better,or am i just imagining that they are worse.
I can also get a set of Cero Aw24, which get good reviews, would these be the best set ??
These are my only choices so any help would be much appreciated.

Not sure what sort of improvement you were expecting, or why you even think there should be an improvement. You've changed from one set of low profile rims, to another set of low profile rims at a similar weight. Cero AW24 seems like just another set of wheels pretty much identical to the other two.dod2565 said:Hi

Buying new wheels and then expecting an improvement in performance is never going to end well, as you are discovering.
