Anyone here riding a Trek Domane willing to comment on the size?
I tried one last night, eBay. According to the manufacturers, it was the perfect size for me (56cm, I'm 178cm). Turned out way too short.
For the record: right now I'm riding Cannondale Synapse, which is also an Endurance geometry.

I had 2 Domanes until i sold them last year. - I am 184cm tall and rode a 60cm.
I do have very long legs though for my height (93cm inseam) and needed the 60cm size for saddle height as the 58cm required the seatpost to be above its maximum limit.0 -
What length was the stem? I am around your height and 54s and 56s tend to be OK for me with standard 90-110 mm stems and spacers to get the bars to the right height. I have longish legs and shorter torso so tend to go for 54s more than 56s (55 effective top tube is my sweet spot).pep.fermi said:Anyone here riding a Trek Domane willing to comment on the size?

I suggest you use https://geometrygeeks.bike/ to compare the bike(s) you're considering with bikes that fit you well. The stack and reach dimensions are the most telling, but you can also consider effective tube tube length, headtube length etc. Pick the size that most closely matches one you know fits well. Also, slightly small bikes can be made to fit easier than ones that are too big.
The big giveaway for me if a big is too short is that my knees will brush the handlebars when I get out of the saddle, but that can be easily fixed with a longer stem.

Im 187cm and ride a 60cm with a 100mm stem. I have long legs though! If it was fine leg wise can you just not fit a longer stem?0

Thanks for comments.
Just bought something else Cube Attain. Geometry just felt much better (thought I'll still probably want to replace the current 100mm stem with a 110 or 120).0
