Replacing Giant Trance suspension bearings. Did get press kit but unfortunately to not come with one for a 698-zz bearing. Where would be the best place to get the individual drift? Thanks

At a push and not ideal but I've used the old (hub) bearings to drift new ones in.
I did buy some individual drifts here and they do most sizes:-

Not sure if they are any good to you as they are made to fit their own diameter threaded bar, washer and nut/handle press.

Hi,
using zz shield bearings won't last as long as they aren't sealed from the elements.
Also, using full complement bearings are a better choice for pivot bearings. They have no cage and contain more balls, so can carry a higher load.
I wouldn't choose C3 bearings, which have a larger clearance for high speed use.
`Sealed` bearings have the code 2rs (2 rubber seals) or sometimes LLU or LLB
So look for 698 2rs C2 full complement if possible.0 -
Thanks for responses. It was only this bearing size which was a zz, the rest are 2rs. Will get 698 2rs replacements. Cheers.2
