Leaking str 7020 shifter..

Hi folks. Bled my brakes and all seemed fine but when returning a bit later noticed fluid coming from this small hole when depressing the lever.. can anyone tell me what the hole is, or is there for?

    Looks like the fixing screw for the 2 parts of the diaphragm there's a small washer/spacer inside with it ,possibly its gone
