Had to go and buy a functional work suit and some shoes today. I think checkout lady thought the waistcoat was part of the suit so didn't charge me the £74 it was marked at. Should I be feeling guilty?

(I must add this was purely for work - my nice suits would get trashed carrying my kit as I do. Work is NOT paying for it)

Do your nice suits ever get worn out so as you get to buy nice new suits :) If not what’s the point, it’s bit like saving it for best and it never gets worn or used.

Very much agree with this. My parents still have unused wedding presents they are saving for best. What on earth do they think is going to happen that hasn't?
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

It’s the Sunday parlour of yesteryear. The room only used for the best of guests or funerals.

Yes I do wear my nice woollen suits but never for work. Heavy camera bags and straps kill the shoulder pads and the fabric on the back. I’d get about 3-4 wears out of them till they are tatty and need a dry clean. Wanted a washable one as our local dry cleaners is now the other side of town a few miles out instead of just down the local
Shops. Saw my son’s M&S washable suit he has for 6th Form so was mighty impressed.
MF will be reassured my best , tailored suits will have their outing at parties, weddings and nights of ho’ and blow’ n champers. Niiiice.

A more than adequate explanation in my book. Fair dos.

    Hmm.

He’s mentioned “heavy camera bags and straps” and his username is “Photonic69”….

I’m guessing photographer. Can’t think why though. 🤷🏼‍♂️

..and there's wedding photographers and model photography, photo journalism, agency photographers and news agency photographers, portrait photographers, catalogue photographers, car photographers, photographers for magazines, freelance photographers...

You get my point, it's a valid question.

BT wants to put each different subject under a separate heading.

Never weddings unless it’s a niece, but only once. In house and on location. Sometimes involves Royalty and VVIPS hence the suit.
