Can anyone recommended an insurance company for £600 bike?

I've looked through some of the comparison sites, and most seem to have a yearly premium of circa £30 with varying levels of cover and conditions.

One that caught my eye was Nova Direct; however, this company gets hammered on the review sites.

Are there any to avoid?

Why not just add it to your home contents insurance?

They want over £49 to add it on and still impose a £150 excess. The specific polices have a £50 excess and come in under £30. My home contents policy was only renewed 6 weeks ago.
