Conversion to SRAM XPLR from Rival Etap AXS

Hi, I am considering switching to SRAM 1x on my gravel bike to replace the Rival AXS 2x. Considering XPLR to replace the current Rival spec.
What are my options?
Crankset only or will I need to swap cassette and rear mech too?

    Think you can remove the double rings and spider and replace with a single direct mount chainring.
