replace older di2 battery with a new one

Hi,

I have an older di2 groupset (dura ace 9070, from 2015) that is otherwise fine but the di2 battery can hold charge only for about a day.
I can't find in stock anywhere (in the UK) an exact replacement. Is it possible to install a newer one possibly with an adaptor or something?

i should have mentioned that it is the one that goes inside the frame

Yeah pan280, both the older SM-BTR2 (the one you have now) and the newer BT-DN110 will work.

The 12-speed BT-DN300 won't work

If you can try the battery in another bike, I had a right hand shifter that was flattening my battery, took a while to narrow it down.

that's not a bad idea, i don't have another bike but i can charge it then disconnect it and plug it back in a few days.
