GRX di2 815 shifters
I’m planning on changing my group to di2 1 x on my Gravel bike.
Struggling to decide on GRX or Ultegra di2 shifters.
1. Does anyone have any observations around benefits of either? (Only different hood grip pattern on more to it?)
2. Does the GRX 815 come with the third button on the hood? My LBS bloke said not but I think he’s wrong.
Thanks guys.

People say the GRX levers have the best ergonomics of all Di2 levers (well, apart from the new ones). They also have Servo Wave functionality (https://bike.shimano.com/en-EU/technologies/component/details/servo-wave-action.html).
Technically your LBS bloke is not wrong, since the third button is not on (top of) the hood.
They do have a third button though, it's on the upper inside corner of the shifter body .

A bit of a simple answer but if it's for a gravel bike why not go with the GRX as it's designed for gravel bikes, what's the advantage of Ultegra?0

Do you not get a clutch on GRX, which would be beneficial to you on a Gravel bike.0
