Finally rebuilt a good old friend

Bought and built up an NS Surge waaay back (2008).... Loved that bike, had so many great times descending, dropping and jumping.... Not so many climbing!

Anyway, I slowly started to use it less and less (didn't have enough time to take it to the places it needs to be taken).... I "borrowed" bits from this build in order to fixup my other bikes, and sold off the rest of the parts until there was nothing left but the frame and forks, which I just couldn't bring myself to part with and then last year I decided to start rebuilding it

About 8 years after it was last built and rideable, here is the yellow beast once again standing proud.....
