12 speed, 11-34 query

So, forgive the confusion I am looking at a new defy which is advertised as shimano 12 speed, 11-34 and 50/34. So, is the lowest ratio still 34/34 = 1.0 and the highest 50/11 = 4.54? I understand 12 speed has closer ‘clicks’ but does it affect gear ratios?

    Yes to 34 x 34 and 50 x11 and no to closer clicks effecting the lowest and highest ratios. You just have another sprocket compared to 11 speed.
