1X11?

Sorry if this has been covered a million times but ive been out of this a while and cant find anything on the search...
I'm building up a Cannondale Jekyll with a 1 x 11 drivetrain on,
problem I'm encountering is finding a mech that will work with a 11-51 cassette, (Im still horribly unfit so I want a bail out gear!) Looking at all the shimano mechs on their site and most of them are stating 42t as a max?
I own a Shimano freehub on my wheel, an 11spd XT shifter and a set of Saint cranks so far
Any help and/or drivetrain reommendations gratefully recieved

@MattFalle having trouble finding a cassette for sensible money, is there much if a real world difference between the 11-46 and the 11-51? Apart from 5 teeth obviously!

5 teeth is quite a lot tbh... you could fit a smaller front to lower the gearing to what you want - Chinese jobs available off the 'Bay for £15 upwards and work perfect....

You would have to define what sensible money is.

I've used the LitePro ones on 3 bikes, about to fit another my son's and never had a problem at all with them.

Weigh nothing, look cool, work perfect, cost a tenner or so.

If you want to stick with Shimano then Deore cassette and mech is the only option for 11-speed 11-51 range.
Your other option is to fit an 11-42 cassette and a smaller chainring.

I think I can go 11-46 without too much bother, the cassettes seem a lot more plentiful in that range, or the Sunrace 11-50 seem to be reasonable money
