    'Ning

Was going to head out today but broke a radio yesterday so guess I'll be trying to fix that.

    Forecast is reasonable today.

Just to annoy Pinno I’m going for a run with the hounds which will get me closer to pre injury time on feet.

A few jobs and then if the wind dies down might go out on the gravel bike.

    Later is obviously the pub

Traditional good lie in had. Did most of my jobs etc yesterday, so bit more of a relaxed day today. Leg recovered OK from the bike ride which is good, the plan to get riding to work again is still on track but carefully does it.

'Twill be the gym in a bit, keep the physio + chiro recommended exercise regime going. Definitely feeling improvement. Keep on keeping on.

I found yesterday's several lunchtime pints of real ale assisted return leg ride with cross headwinds easier than I had assumed. Maybe a wee belter beer such As Butts Barbus Barbus organic is the next performance enhancer.

    Morning folks,
Traditional slow start is being enjoyed. Bit moist out so a cup of coffee seems in order. The lad is cooking garlic mushrooms, he even grew them himself. Blue Oyster mushrooms, not magic he assures me.
Might do a bit of pottering today.
Beer is a good recovery drink 'loon, water and complex carbohydrates is just what you need.

Cracking day's weather, somewhat wasted by faffing about in the shed most of it. Bit behind on some of the assigned jobs round here, and untidy shed has been a contributing factor.

Sold a pile of bike parts I really won't likely use now. Wish I could shift a bunch more, will try my luck.

Made progress on replacing the balustrade on the internal staircase here. A small beginning at least. Won't be that hard, just fiddly to get it precisely lined up and evenly spaced.

Morning. Woke up, got out of bed, didn’t drag a comb across my head. WTF do the Beatles know.

Took the flat bar bike for a proper shakedown. Went ok, just about 8-9 miles, it’ll do. Back to the nice bike next week. Then dropped into Dartford park to see my boss finish the Dartford half marathon. He hit his 75 minute target so he’ll be happy in work tomorrow.

Afternoon of work coming up, made more complicated by having my three subject leads tell me that they all have covid. It’s going to be a long week…

Eurgh, that's dull. Much COVID going round your way? Several friends have had it in the last couple of weeks. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks. Tested -ve for C19 thankfully.
I have flu like symptoms - aching bones, headache.
But I can taste and smell, I haven't got any fever. Odd.
Maybe a touch of food poisoning.

Deltacron is the new (not sure improved) kid on the block. It sounds like a Sci-fi film I'd watch.

Apparently, there's only 30 cases of it in the UK. So I would have to be bloody unlucky.

Feeling a bit better. Slept most of the day - with ease.

Perhaps I got a small dose of flu and the vaccine has mitigated the worst of it.

A possibility of BA.2 in your area?

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Should have gone for option 2 - wire brush and paraffin.
