    T-14 = Russian tank.

Was in Stockholm and got on board (very briefly) a T-57 submarine.
I asked why it was called a 'T-57' and the reply was that it was a submarine made in 1957 and the 'T' stood for type. Such is the lack of Soviet imagination.
I presume that all Russian military hardware is T + add year it was designed(?)/built.

Chilly and bright this morning with little wind.
Meeting in the middle Kingdom of Galloway today. Should be interesting.

    Afternoon folks,
Day of WFH for me today to facilitate an early getaway to a local hostelry. Suffering with a serious bout of CBA, not helped by seeing a couple of friends that are over from France just now. Sorely tempted to take the afternoon off and join them for a little while. They are making the most of a day of freedom before having to deal with their dementia addled old dear for the weekend.
Still waiting on solicitors for the old dear's new gaff, she signed the contract on Monday but the seller's solicitor says they haven't had the contract back from the seller yet. Very tedious, but at least we don't live in Kiev.

    Roll on the weekend

Been back in the woods today with the Friday Volunteers, good bunch of lasses and lads, coppicing, felling, layering hazel to encourage new growth. One gal, in her 50s, keen cyclist as well 👍, is a real powerhouse, shifts some seriously heavy timbers no probs. Her last sesh today, relocating out of The Valley headed up tlw's direction. Good bunch, only been doing this since last May when those covid restrictions (ignored of course by #toryscum) started to ease, will miss the shared endeavours and bantz when I do my runner.

Beer time. Chill. Avoid news stuff.

    Toothpick into a volcano...
(Doubt anyone else has seen that film)

Took the day off because the forecast said scorchio, but it turned out pretty dull, cold and windy in the bit of Snowdonia I went to.

Also got a serious case of CBA after summit number 1 plus a dead arm and leg so thought it best to head down back to the car
