Tubeless question

When it comes to tubeless tyres I'm a complete noob. I'm looking for clarification please.
My Emonda SLR7 came with Bontrager Aeolus Pro 37 wheels which are tubeless ready. The original tyres supplied with the bike when new were not tubeless ready (as far as I know). I've recently bought (what I thought) were identical tyres from the Trek site being Bontrager R3...albeit 28's as opposed to a 25. However, I noticed these tyres when putting them on said 'Tubeless ready' on the sidewall which the original 25's didn't...see photo attached.
Am I right to assume then these along with the wheels can be run without inner tubes?
Although not fit originally, the bike was supplied with tubeless valves so all I'd need would be some tubeless rim tape and sealant?

You will also need a good pump or maybe an inflator...0

Some Bontrager wheels can accept a rim strip which might be easier than taping.
Something like this

No idea which one would fit your wheels or if one exists. I recall reading a review which says these make the mounting a lot more secure, you're more likely to be able to fit a worm and reinflate with a hand pump. On the other hand you'll probably not be able to unmount them at the roadside.0
