    Morning.
    Tad windy outside today. Just dropped eldest off at train station for his navy trip. Hopefully no cancellations due to weather etc. Certainly no riding today unless Totally insane. Day off work just in case Dad rescue services required.

    On the train again - turned onto the road where I usually park the car and spotted a car well and truly squished by a fallen tree so parked as far away from trees as possible, just in case. Meetings and tax mitigation to follow...

    Windynotnippy here.

    Trunk road agency have shut the bridge again due to the wind so all the traffic is coming past my house. 3rd time in 12 months and 3rd time since it was built in 1990.

    Morning folks,
    Slowish start is being enjoyed as we've got the day off to recover from the weekend, wallet will take a little longer to do so. But we had a great time and the EPO is happy so that's good. Heading to Brighton shortly to take female child back to uni and a bit of a jolly for us. Hopefully won't get blown away. Hold onto your hats.

    Cheers V, he's almost there. Certainly not going to take him the last bit. Lots of late or cancelled trains causing issues. Stay safe out there and prepare for storm Gladys towards the end of the week.

    Mrs Slog wanted the spare bedroom ceiling re-doing, it was damaged some years back by a water leak, so as it was bad weather, we got on with it. Today, i've stripped off all the all ceiling paper, and replaced with some nice stuff

    Now I've got the hang of it and I still have some swear words I've not tried out, does anyone want theirs doing?

    I'm charging ยฃ12k a room.
