Morning Saturday Slackers. Usual local parķrun but taking the lads with me. They want to prove they can beat me plus eldest needs to pick his fitness up a bit for navy. Later all going for a belly buster breakfast somewhere on orders of the OH. Looks grey out, certainly a bit warmer and breezy out there. Enjoy your wkend.

Once the washing's done and I've rung the nice* people at merseyflow, off for a not so long walk with someone else's wife.

Nice and mild here, bit of sun through the cloud. Handyman come to fix one of the showers then off out with the hounds. Weetabix and coffee in the meantime...

    Well done.

    It's windy with showers.

Not quite a PB 2nd fastest, that will do given age gap and his longer legs.

left hooks, close passes and pointless overtakes, i.e. no change at all

also the grossly obese slob who thought his new right to step out into the road had somehow eliminated the need for stopping distance, probably the fastest he's ever moved

Tory esp the Spaffer variant U-turns are endless, turn, turn, turn again, so they end up going round and round in circles, going nowhere and achieving nothing. HTH.

At least you'd have had a soft impact if you'd hit him SG

    Evening folks,
Wobbled to Croydon to help friend's daughter and her kid get settled in new flat, definitely a tad blowy. Unfortunately headwind coming back. Took the pub hack as I didn't want to take a decent bike and wanted to find my bike where I'd locked it. Flat needs some bits fixing, but its a lot better than where she was before. Similar drivers to those SG encountered unfortunately, expecting as much I did take off road paths for some sections.

Who won out of dad and the lads?

Walk was really nice, bit a bit windy. Can't beat going out and chatting bollocks all day with old friends.

Merseyflow person was very nice but not very helpful.

The lad won by about 30 secs or so. Not bad for 30 something yr age difference and I'm carrying 10kg more. I beat him on endurance though hands down, he's stuffed after 5 miles. 🤭

If it’s the one that’s just popped up on Netflix, I have it 5mins, garbage. Maybe Stevo watching for the Korean mini skirted school girls?
