Still dark. Going for a run.
Will find a sunny hilltop to sit on later if I'm still awake.

Up too early considering the ale.

First ever navigation fell race this morning with a pal, so a decent pig based breakfast will help.

Later is a walk to a pub, so should hit both my step and all counts today

Bit of a slow start to proceedings today. It's cloudy again. Must get farmer bloke to shift @ss and get the hedges done - he has no excuse 'cos it has been the driest January on record thus far.

Morning. Only a slight twinge from the iffy leg after yesterday evenings test jog. Looking good for some bike action in Feb at this rate. Just slurping tea then off out with the hounds before more sorting of stuff to go in the loft.

Morning. Migraine so tab tabbed. Things to achieve today:

    Department bulletin
Timeline and guidance for coursework completion
Plan programme of learning walks for the rest of the year
Plan student surveys for the rest of the year
    Plan department meeting for Wednesday
    11+ prep with junior GTi
Try for 45 minutes on the turbo, see if my left hip copes

All contingent on my migraine going fairly quickly.

Take them for a walk through Alsager, that'll be a learning curve.

    Afternoon folks,
Traditional slow start was enjoyed. Day of pottering for me after much dicking about yesterday.
Hope TLW isn't too lost, he should plot a route using hostelries as waypoints. I've still got a slight headache, thankfully don't tend to get migraine. Hope it passed Mr GTi, you lazy teaching types need to get on with your prep.

Thanks V. This is turning out to be a pretty bad one. Might involve a dark room and some sleep.

Ride rided. Cold one, the sort of conditions to ensure constant snot production. Upsides: reasonably dry, not too sticky in the unsurfaced sections. Plus saw this small gang of Yellowhammers flitting back and forth across the track - don't think they liked my hi-viz jacket as they left en masse.
