On one 45650b - shock suggestion

Hi all

Just purchased an 45650b frame and I’ll get it next week. Plan is to build it from ground up as I’ve never done it so cheap and 2nd parts are the plan and I can use it to swap bit with my megA.

1st question is what shocks? Was looking at 150 to go the aggressive ht route but no idea what to look at

    I have the older 456Evo with 26 inch wheels. I run a 150mm Marzocchi Z1 bomber and it rides great. Only issue is 180mm is the biggest disc that fits on the back and the 30.9 mm seat tube limits droppers.

    Fork wise 1 1/8 straight forks in 650b are rare like rocking horse shit but I think the 45650b has a 44 mm headtube so you should be able to use a tapered fork with an external lower cup. Beware short steerer 2nd hand forks.
    Please do research and double check before buying a fork.
