    Really sorry to hear this WS. Most of what anyone can say always sounds trite but it seems like there’s a lot of good memories there. I hope these bring a little comfort.

    I have a very good friend whom I have known since 1988 and he lost his wife to cancer just 3 days before Christmas. I can't go to the funeral because it's going to be packed with people and that leaves me and my dodgy immune system susceptible.
    I also was told just yesterday (and i'll name him) that my good friend Bill McFadden passed away. Though he did have a good innings. He held 9 world records in 7 different disciplines at one time from Bench pressing to dead lifts.

    None of the above has anything to do with the 'hissy fit'. I am not expecting sympathy or condolences either. It's been another tough year for many.
    So I agree with you - 2021 can just fro.

    Been avoiding the internet handbag swinging by getting in the last ride of the year, barring some anomaly in the space time continuum. Clarty McClartface throughout, very Lionel all the way. But good as ever for the mental state. Lots of people out, bikelists, runnists, walkists and even some horseists. Everybody friendly.

    On the way back into town, the traffic queues were epic. Quick, quick we must stock up on oh everything as the shops will be closed tomorrow. For one day.

    I need to venture to an edge of town one for the pharmacy, and rummage for any best-before bargains. Oh, and some hefe weissebier. And and... join that queue.

    Evening folks,
    Blimey, didn't mean to light the blue touch paper and call anybody names. I did well there for no effort, as the MFs noted I was merely telling them not to be tw@s.
    Been another long day of sorting through the old man's stuff at the house. I now have a stack about 3' high of posters and prints in the back of the car to go to a charity shop. Several hundred books to follow. That's only one room done. We still have all the artwork he did in there. Then there's the rest of the house.
    Sorry for your losses chaps, it's never easy even when it's expected. As has been mentioned it's been a dreadful year all round. Let's hope next year gets better, although I suspect it's going to be a bumpy start. Have a good evening everyone.
    Oh, nearly forgot TLW and his test result. Did the MFs tell you to wankitout? You'll have plenty of time on your hands so I hope the internet connection can cope.
