If anyone confuses me with Alaphilippe I’d be very flattered

    Always was.
Mostly confused by you being concerned by "rules".
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

oh no - me not concerned by schizz and have always worn what I want, but theres always been such a commotion among people (dare I say "clubbies") that you weren't allowed to wear the stuff as you hadn't "earned the right" or whatever that means that I was wondering if attitudes had changed or not.

however, Rule 5 does apply throughout life.

Those people certainly still exist. I'm not sure there were ever many around here though.

i do remember a massive "heated debate" on here back in the day - just hoping those attitudes have changed tbh.

I really like the pink Trek Segafredo training kit. I don't wear pro team kits, but it's one of the few I'd wear if I did.

The men's peachy one and orange ineos Jerseys are also far better than their race kits. Theyre purely a colour change I think.
In the flesh, it definitely looked pink to me.

Wear whatever you like as far as I'm concerned. I personally have felt too self-conscious to wear a team kit since the merciless ribbing endured when I turned up in the latest Team High Road kit for a ride with my local Bretagne village club.

loving the Bike Exchange kit so far. Would like to see a few mor teams go against black shorts, surely they can come up with something a bit different.

Despite being a Sagan fan im not loving the Total Energies kit

Horrible- looks like a poor version of camouflage kit.
  • What a howler. Is WVA still likely to be in the Belgian champs jersey at the Tour or will he have to defend it before then?

National champs are traditionally held the weekend before the Tour.

I have to agree, it's an abomination.

Extra incentive to win then eh? So he doesn't have to wear that monstrosity.

I fully agree. But with one caveat, see it in IRL. I remember seeing a version of the Italian kit that I thought was the dawg's, until I saw it IRL. Publicity shots can be misleading.

    Or, it's a dog's breakfast.

If they want to go arty, that jersey is the opposite of Mondrian....

Also, mixing Vermeer, Van Gogh and Rembrandt doesn't really make much sense. At least aside from typing "famous Dutch painters" into Google.
