Trek Bontrager Duster Rim Cracked

Hi,
Sure, most of us ride the latest and greatest stuff but I still enjoy my 2012 Trek Remedy 8.
Just now I had to replace the rear wheel because there were fatigue cracks all over the rim bed. And I know what you’re thinking. No, the ride weight is 70 kg. No, the tires didn’t see more than 40 PSI. And, no bike park craziness.
So replacing the wheel is no big deal but mentioning incident since a cracked rim at speed can be tricky to master. The rim stickers did hide some cracks till it got too obvious.
So when you still ride some Trek-Bontrager rims – it is advised to check them regularly for cracks.
