Things are a bit hazy but that’s what happens with a fun night.

Grab a quick drink and ride back home, got an hour and a half run to do before we start drinking again as we are going into town for lunch 😎

Yo, walking dog, football - away in some area of Kent, then littles one's dance show (I believe/hope there is a bar) that is 2 1/2 hours long.

Which goalie would you compare yourself to tetley?

Not in goal today. regular keeper is back today so ill be roaming around central midfield, but if I had to compare myself I think id be Neville Southall.

    Very dull and windy today.
Finished putting Porker#1 back together late yesterday, bar a brake bleed. Frikkin knackered.
Might fire it up in a bit and get it out of the garage so that I can tidy up.

    Tash and chunky?

It was a toss up between big Nev and Jean-Marie Pfaff as to who I was going to be when playing in goal as a nipper.

Lie in as usual, dog walk soon then more house related stuff. May watch footy later.

Thinking more just the tash, but chunky is probably part of it as well.
I liked Schumacher as well. Goalie when growing up but realised I was miles better on pitch when I turned 17.

    Morning folks,
Traditional slow start is being enjoyed, time for coffee shortly.
That reminds me, saw a thing with alternative definitions, coffee being the person you coughed on. My favourite was lymph; walking with a lisp. Which ties in nicely with the Toyah discussion of the other day.
Going to head over to the old dear's later and go for a stroll on Wombledon Common with her and my niece. Other than that, much pottering to be done.

The Germans have had a string of great keepers. Remember that huge bloke resembling an oak tree? Wossisname... hang on... Oliver Kahn.

  • Busy day doing... stuff. Walked dog, made coffee, some shed faff, then got stuck into the gardening with power tools thing, till I ran out of trimmer line. Got out a spade to dig out some old steel mesh from around the fence, was chopping it up with bolt cutters and managed to step on a spike of it... punched a hole through shoe and into my foot.

    Ow.

If you had bought a decent bike, you would have averaged 20mph.

The neighbour's ex cat (sadly passed) was like that.
She loved being put back over the fence just to come back and cause mayhem. Just a game to her I think.
