Struck gold with the take away tonight, we went for fish n chips and the fish was so big it wouldn't fit on the plate, with top notch crispy batter. Went all Macc Lads and had gravy with my chips :)

    Happy days

Welcome to club Ti, do the wheels go whoosh? Means its a good one then

Greyness abound from the climbs of Heckshire which feels like a horrifying combination of Hotel California and Groundhog day of late. Apparently were entertaining friends tonight so I'm debating feigning I have some very contagious disease, suggestions on the back of a PCR test pack please.
Err, I think you came up with the answer. Did it work?

No need to do it with fish though, Stevo. Sausage dinner is the gravy way.

    Quality.

To describe chips, gravy and mushy peas as 'quality', is a very British thing.

Chips with curry sauce. Don’t know where you’re all getting the (wrong) idea that gravy is acceptable

i'll run with this and agree with JohnGT - curry sauce from the chippie, gravy on a plate.

Chips and gravy is fine, once went to a place trying to be an American diner and they offered 'wet fries' which is an abomination, so I ordered chips and gravy and insisted the pillock serving repeated it properly.
