Boardman CXR 8.9 - Wheel replacement

Hi there

I have a Boardman CXR 8.9 (This one: https://www.halfords.com/bikes/cyclocross-bikes/boardman-cxr-8.9-cyclocross-bike-528973.html), and I'm after some replacement wheels but I'm struggling to find quick-release disc wheelsets online. Most disc wheels seem to be thru-axle and I don't know if these will be compatible with my bike or not?

Also not sure if I need replacement discs/brake pads or will the ones I have do?

Budget is on the lower end, I use it for a 5 mile each way commute three days a week so I don't need anything fancy.

Could somebody lend some advice on what would be most suitable for me? Thanks.

I wonder if you may have to go through Halfords because I have a feeling that the rear is actually 141mm OLD which is not standard.

Sorry, what does 141mm OLD mean? Is that the width of the dropouts?

Those are a bit out of my price range, although they do look lovely!

Yes that's correct. I'm sure it's a non-standard size on several Boardman's.
