Shoot sleep 😢 was for the lack of trying on the ale front either

Todays meal is expensive but the kids are having take out from a local one so overall it will be just upsetting

    Well, don't do it then.

Bloody hell it's dull... and windy... and wet.

Back to WFW, need to plan some more holidays.
Greggs had run out of sausages this morning, must panic buy later.

Hope johngti's wrinkly parts are OK.

How do you know they are wrinkly?!

  • Tired out today, running a half marathon 2 weeks after a full one has taken it's toll. Added to that being awake for 22 out of 24 hours didn't help either. Finished at 3.30am in the hotel bar.
Stupidly got back on it again yesterday. Regretting that now.

    Morning folks,
Working from old dear's for a little while this morning trying to get her to look at her finances. Frustrating to say the least. On the bright side it makes actual work seem easier 😃.
Managed to wobble over here, feel knackered after any effort but good to be on the bike.
Is HD trying to take TLW's crown with all this runnering and drinking? Good effort 👍

I took this to mean wrinkly:

Slightly unconvincing start to the day, but on the promise of some sunshine we took the convertible for the run into town.

Home mid afternoon, in time to go burn a pile of stuff in the paddock.

I'm trying to not worry excessively. Basically I have to wait for appointments to find stuff out now but I can't stop myself from fearing the worst. For example, I've always had lower back ache and my left hip has given me gyp since I broke it at age 13 but now I'm making links to whatever is going on inside since that's one of the signs that things aren't great. So yeah. It's going to be a stressful few weeks. Going for the bloods to be taken tomorrow morning first thing.

Definitely struggled last night when I couldn't sleep. Mrs GTi hasn't taken the news well either.

Thanks for all the positive thoughts though. It is appreciated :)

It's difficult to say the least, but try to keep positive. There's a good chance it's nothing sinister, you are in the system and will be looked at now, if it's urgent you'll get prioritised. I went to see the surgeon to dicuss getting a biopsy. He asked if we could hang around a couple of hours then rang his wife to say he'd be home late. 15 years later I'm still here to bore people in real life and on the internet.

Puts my house move stuff into perspective.

Woke at 5am with a head full of stuff that needs doing, but once the movers started this morning it all started to fall into place. Even did a bit of work, but now off till next Tuesday to get this all sorted and some semblance of normal life at the other end by next week. Have made sure we still have enough food and grog stocks to last us.

Nah. Stress is stress, doesn’t matter what the cause is.

    When do you actually move?

Best of luck GTI. There was a bit of group chat back in 2019, think it was on the SDB prostate cancer thread which turned into a bit of a hard road journey for ridgerider OTP. I had various tests and scans done then which showed up as just me getting older, nothing sinister. But it's probably time for me to get the PSA test done again.

Anyways, last (I hope) high hedge trim, tripod ladder session of the year done today. Feeling bleepin' tired now. Only Tuesday but I may have to have a glass of something revivalist. Going to be a long working week. Hopefully get a better night's sleep tonight to help.

Thursday. Made a good dent in the packing - same again tomorrow then last stuff and us go Thursday lunchtime.

'Tis a very common thing by all accounts. And often turns out to be benign, fortunately.

This is exactly why I prefer to bury my head in the sand (although that would leave my bottom exposed 🤔) finger up the bum and willy probe! 😩 Good luck gti 👍
