If you enjoy riding a road bike there is no finer place in Europe to ride than the Dolomites and the atmosphere at the Maratona is special. Sure it's not easy to get in, but if you doubt the area because it doesn't appear in Le Tour, just get there and see. It really is road biking heaven.
