Routes with no or little traffic in Torrevieja

Will soon spend a week in Torrevieja. I am familiar with a few a few routes (both road and gravel/MTB around the La Mata National Park). Want other family members to join me and they insist on routes with no or little traffic, especially avoiding roundaabouts. Is it possible to cycle on the riverside of Segura from the dock (all the way to Orihuela?). In case so, will it be mainly on gravel roads? I will also appreciate other routes as well. I am on Strava and Koomot, so feel free to send route suggestions, either here or in a PM. Google routes are fine as well!
