The store I was in had some bottles of Julienas (a beaujolais cru) at 6.99. Also worth a punt if you like low tannin fruity red (I seem to recall Pinno being a fan). 30 mins in the fridge door.

I remember an exceptional Macon Rouge - same valley as Beaujolais but far better than the stuff that came out of there during that bonkers 80's fad of buying Beaujolais Nouveau.
