replacement brake pads

Hi all, I have a Triban RC120. The rim brake pads are soon needing to be replaced, what brake pads would you guys recommend or should I just get the same ones that came on the bike from decathlon?
Thanks in advance

    Oooh, can of worms.

Lifeline from Wiggle/CRC work mega, dirt cheap.

Standard Shimano work mega, bit more expensive.

KoolStop salmon work mega, bit more expensive

Swissstop work mega but v expensive.

    .
The camera down the willy isn't anything like as bad as it sounds.

If you've never had a problem with whats on there, just do the same again.

Swisstop are no more expensive than standard shimano as they are sold in 4s, not in 2s. (Unless there has been a significant price change in the last couple of years).
    Swisstop would be my recommendation.
  • Another recommendation for Swissstop BXP, they perform better than Shimano in the dry and significantly better in the wet. £22 for a pack of 4 doesn't seem expensive considering the difference they make to the braking performance.

Yep Swissstop or koolstop salmons, don’t squeak and will stop you in the wet or dry.
