Boardman SLR8.9 vs Canyon Endurace AL/Ultimate

Hi,
I am looking at getting a road bike in addition to the MTB I have so I can use for long road rides and maybe a triathlon later.
I like the look of the Canyon Endurace AL or Carbon/ Carbon Ultimate but the Boardman 8.9 Carbon (£1100) is cheaper plus its on Cycle 2 work which my employer does where the Canyon bikes are on Cycle Scheme which my employer does not offer and they are more expensive by £400 to 800. (£1349 to £1900)
Has anyone tried bikes from both manufacturers and can advise of their opinions please?
