Well done that man! Josh Quigley.
2179.66 miles in a week. With a bit of forethought he would have smashed it as this distance included doing 8000ft climbing per day.

    yep, quite some effort by Josh

    If verified he looks to have beaten the record by just a couple of miles, small margin for error. For the final 200km or so he looks to have just kept it as flat as possible up and down a relatively small stretch of road.

    Why the BBC seem to continue with the 'Crash Cyclist' label I don't know.

    Two major crashes in the space of a year, in one of which he could have been killed.
