Hi all, just a quick question.
Got a TT coming up and currently using a set of Mavic Cosmic Elite S WTS wheels on my canyon speedmax (2015). They the wheels that came with bike and going strong so never changed them (nor afford fancy ones yet!).
A mate as offered me to try his wheels off his gaint propel, a pair of giant Sl1 55mm wheels.
Just wondering would these be worth using? I know rim depth a bit deeper but don't know if comics with bladed spokes ect be better /lighter ect.

I wouldn't think they'd make any difference to be honest. It's never too late to become what you might have been...........0

As above, unlikely to see a major difference, maybe 5 seconds for a 10 miles TT... basically, engage the pedals quicker at the start and you've gain 5 seconds already. Try the course extensively to see where is best to "put the foot down" and you might easily gain a minute.left the forum March 20231

Cool cheers, thought as much. Better start saving for those deep sections...0
