Spin Bike query

Can you get away without padded shorts on a 45 minute indoor studio cycle ride?

You can, but why would you?
I find being on a trainer harder than on the road so use my best shorts for these sessions.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Depends is this spinbike at home or like a instructor led session in a gym. When doing instructor led sessions I found I was out of the saddle a lot pushing hard so padded shorts weren't really needed. TBH normally if I did spin bike I'd mostly ride there so wore them anyway.
Too many bikes according to Mrs O.

Spin bike at home. I only have limited time for training but I guess comfort is more important than time saving.
