Shoes for duck feet

I have duck feet - narrow heels, very wide forefoot - current Northwave shoes are fine at the front, but tend to feel a bit loose round the heel unless I really do them up tight (which then makes them too tight)...any brands that are better suited?

It's just a hill. Get over it.

  • Sounds a bit like my feet! Just bought 2 pairs of Shimano shoes, sent for 2 different ones to try but as they fitted will keep both. There are MT3 and MT6. Both are size 11 when usually I take a 10. The MT6 were slightly wider at the front than the MT3s!
Sigma sports seem to have them a good price and free returns

bont have a few heat moldable models, they also offer wide fitting versions (though it might be harder to find stock)

if the front fits ok, you can then mold the midfoot and heel to fit

I was going to suggest Bont too. I've got wide-ish feet and find the regular sized bonts fine in the toe box but too tight at the heel. I currently wear Northwave shoes which I find a good fit all round.
  • Lake also do shoes with wide toe boxes (be sure to check which last it is), and some of them are heat moldable so you can optimise the fit at the back.
