BMX World Championships - no Kye White?

Amazing to see both Olympic champions repeat their wins yesterday, especially the Kimman was advised on Monday by his teams Dr not to race due to a knee injury!

Bethany S had a stunning final (Don't think she looked dominant in any of the previous rounds that I saw) to win by a margin.

One question I had, which google turns up nothing on, and even the BBC commentators didn't mention, was the fact that Kye White was not there - anyone know why?

    Just checked his Instagram, he caught Covid before the championship so couldn't go
