Yeah, day of sorting shit out, again.

That's what I'm hoping for, however seeing as plod can't even answer a phone I'm not holding out much hope.
It's not the stuff, it's the cancelled weekend away that I've been looking forward to for weeks that's really got me.

No luck Thistle. Are you covered in any way?

You never know, it might have been one of those pesky MF's.

Packing to go home. It's cloudy here and sunny out West, so that's good.

Thistle - offer still stands if you have got your window repaired.

Chilled start as we are in the van without kids or hounds.

Nice stroll into Ludlow to get some baps. Later is lunch a bit of shopping then hot footing it home as we are out with friends to see a play called pride and prejudice at the local castle. Assume is involves car chases over bridges and stuff (pride comes before a fall) and probably the driver is a minority hence the prejudice.

We are taking our own drink and obviously phones to watch the Lions - what’s the worst that can happen?

Is Ludlow the place to go for a nice pair of baps?

Good luck with getting your stuff back thistle.

Soggy morning, though if was really early when I woke up as it looked so dark outside. The ladies of the house have gone off to test drive a car so I'm left with the hounds. Now chilling with a mug of tea and watching Space 1999.

You'd think there would be an MF nearby, there's so many of them and they need spreading out a bit to avoid critical mass.

Car repair is covered and doesn't affect NCB. Contents are covered under car insurance but then I'd be back to 0 NCB after the last damage so not sure it's worth it.
A lot of the stuff wasn't valuable, but can't easily be replaced.

    Morning folks,
Traditional slow start is being enjoyed, rather moist out.
Trying to find a bright side Thistle there are weather warnings for campers due to storms. But really sorry for you. Hope they catch the thieving scrotes and if not that there is a special place in hell for them. Doubt there's much I can do to help, but if there is...
Where was this gig 'loon? I think our ops director might have been playing up that way. He lives near High Wycombe and said they had a gig by a pub somewhere.
I think pics of Ludlow baps would prove disappointing.
    Anyway, onwards to pottering.

Is FleurFest, the Fleur de Lys pub in East Hagbourne just outside Didcot. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Bootleg Blondie on this pm plus various other bands, tonight's headliners being 'C U Tuesday'... sounds about right after a heavy weekend.

Mate and missus going back today as well, but I'm done, catch up on Olympic mens' road race.

I have a friend who lives near where i was supposed to be staying who said the weather was a bit exciting last night.

Afternoon, we have now crossed the border ( Lincolnshire/ Norfolk) and are at our friends house, things haven’t changed much down here in rural Norfolk, weather sun out at last , time for a stroll on the beach and a couple of drinks
    Have a good day

    ciao

    grey and wet here.

went to work this morning, dragged some bloke over a 6 mile tab. not even that much weight on his back. much embarrassed at his weakness tbh.

spent the last 2 hrs watching Olympic road race on iPlayer. 37k left it switches coverage off, can't find the remainder of the race on either iPlayer or Eurosport.

that's 2 hours of my life i'm never going to get back.

After Turkeygate, TLW was advised by the marriage counsellor to get involved in his partners interests.
Tomorrow will be Mrs TLW drinking yards.
