The j04c finned pads are about £30!
Can someone recommend a suitable but cheaper alternative?
I'm sure I dont need the finned icetec stuff for the sort of riding I do.

I think the version without the fins is the m785. You can buy a 4 pack for less than £30.

Yep and the cheap alternative is to not have the fins and if you don’t have the fins they look like m785 pads or S5 in superstar components pad identifier. (But they don’t have any stock so I didn’t link.)1

Try these. Excellent pads for the money. I’ve used both SRAM and Shimano multi compound equivalent ones for a couple of years and Had no problems. Email them if you need help they reply quickly.0
