Greek cyclists

Always seem to do well on the track but why no riders or teams for the road. They seem to have plenty of active domestic riders but not aware of any at top level - and so many other countries getting into the WT??

    Haven't got a λουκάνικο...

Although I wouldn't want to train on Greek roads.

    Perhaps it's a money thing, what's a Greek earn?

Not really surprising - they only have Apollo cycles...

They’re quite good at the gyro

I really shouldn’t have listened to Carlton’s commentary

As I was saying to my mate the other day, "They're all right tootling around Athens, but as soon as they head uphill they come a cropper, Liz. Just seem to lose their marbles."

Chap by the name Polychronis Tzortzakis had a couple of seasons with Tarteletto back in 2018/19.
He now rides for the CT Kuwait Pro Cycling Team. They currently have 2 Greek pros on their books.
I thought that one of the Volikakis brothers had dabbled with the road, but I was mistaken.
