Hounds walked, work stuff then drop the camper off for a tow bar for hopefully the final time 🙄

Later is recovery run and football watching

Do you keep reversing into things with the tow bar? It's a very useful thing in that respect.
I see Portugal and the very modest, very sporting wonder kid are on way home. Hee hee.

Bit dull here but mild and... I can see some blue sky.

Shoot sleep and many things to do so I guess i'll squeeze in a power nap sometime.

Not a bad Haiku, apt for the weather.

Ventured out yesterday on the bike, weather looked very iffy so took the gravel bike, turned out I could have done with the added speed of the road bike trying to grab the back of a group that apparently randomly formed due to the high winds.
Few confused faces at me spinning out like a nut case trying to keep with them. Still ride done legs unhappy with the situation so means it was good.

Rain this morning first day of new job amazingly new laptop and dock working first time out the box so I get to enjoy training courses galore today plus some random teams calls to "meet the team" etc. Onward to caffeine!

That made me smile as well. He'll still be rolling in it however, as BP have just applied for drilling rights on his head :)

Was absolutely torrential last night, had to go outside and check that the drain on the drive was completely clear of gunk in case it started flooding. Slightly soggy ride into the office this morning but really not too bad as it was warm-ish. Now enjoying coffee and a cornish pastie as I run on the corporate hamster wheel.

No indy VW specialists locally? There's on near Birdlip, Cheltenham - used them, they were good.

Heavy weekend, running is back to a sensible pace rather than a limp.
Saturday was the lads 18th do so we'd booked out a local restaurant for a private socially distanced meal.
Finished the weekend with a bottle and watched the tour, I hope that woman gets it.

    Morning folks,
Not so traditional slowish start was enjoyed. Feels odd being on holiday but not. Got a few bit and pieces to do then going for a walk and a coffee with the EPO. Should have been collecting the lad today but he is waiting on the results of a second PCR test. If clear I'll get him tomorrow.
Hope the first day goes well Step. Hope everyone else has a good day too of course.

There's a lot of it about. Thankfully not having to deal with any of it today. Been for a walk in the park with the EPO, had coffee and cake. Just chilling.

Ours is slightly more meatier, I've seen engine blocks go through it occasionally.

I've seen one on Youtube a while back that is designed to do engine blocks. Quite impressive.

Wouldn’t make a difference to the state of my feet, not my best feature, too many broken toes at odd angles.
