Allen Bolts On Chainstay

womackwomack Posts: 566
Owned this particular bike since 2015 and only today noticed two allen bolts on the underside of the non drive side chainstay.

Any ideas of what they are there for.

    Kickstand?

If it's only on the NDS, I'd guess they're for a kickstand like this one: https://www.orbea.com/us-en/gear/spare-parts/cat/soporte-ciclo-mx-2019

Fair do's seems a good shout, but would you as a manufacturer encourage a kickstand on what they advertised at the time as an "aero / fast" road bike.

Bike is an Orbea Orca, carbon, lightweight etc, why would you put a kickstand on it!!!

Could be for a cadence/speed measurerer thingy.
Or an extra bottle cage for Milemincer?

Is it where you bolt on the motor.

Good suggestions, in fact the possibilities are endless.

I could attach some thrust boosters, that would show them Strava people!!

Looks like for externally mounting Di2 battery?

Good shout, mine is just normal gear change, presumably they made the frame adaptable for either system.
